I have watched captivating past episodes of Sky Elements Drones performance on AGT and yesternights performance on the American dream at #AGT finale was really mind blowing and left me incredibly inspired. Working in the drone industry and developing deep passion for innovative drone use cases, the concept of drone shows is something that have been on mind for the better part of this year and is something I want to explore further. The precision, the creativity, and technology that go into crafting such amazing stories are nothing short of remarkable. I have witnessed first hand impacts of drones in healthcare and logistics and I am exited about the immense potential for drones to revolutionize the entertainment space and redefine how we celebrate or experience festivals. This new frontier of drone shows combine my passion for drones and a desire to push boundaries in technology and storytelling and I am looking forward to diving deeper into this exiting world. We're thrilled to kick off a series of posts where we answer your burning questions about Spexi, from drone compatibility to token launches and more! 🙋♂️ I fly a different drone, can I fly Spexigons? ➡️ Based on a number of market & regulatory factors the micro drones will be the first drones compatible with the platform. While additional drones may be integrated later, there's no specific order or timeline yet. 🙋♂️ Will the Mini 2 SE work on the platform? ➡️ Currently, the Mini 2 SE isn't compatible. We're evaluating it and may need the SDK release from DJI for integration. We're just getting started with our Spexi FAQ Series, and there's so much more to explore! So, I am back home from #FarnboroughAirshow ✈ Was it worth visiting? Depends. Let me sum it up from Mejzlik Propellers point of view 👀 ⬇ Why not? 😕 It was my first presence at this specific Airshow. As the industry is moving a lot into drones, I expected much more drone producers exhibiting their products. This was a lot about components and parts for aircrafts, jet engines, producers of raw material, compressors, wires, screws, lights etc. It was worth to see, but not very useful for our business. Never mind, because... ⬇ Why yes? 😎 I had 2 great meetings arranged in advance. First with AVX AIRCRAFT COMPANY guys Steve Schultz and Kendall Goodman. We discussed our current cooperation and their unique drone solution. This will be a great product and I look forward to delivering first rotor blades for them soon. Then we had a short, but fruitful chat with Thomas Hulson, Orbital UAV. It is always great to see faces hidden behind e-mail addresses. Another good one was with Dr Stephen Prior. And then, I met bunch of my former colleagues from PBS Velka Bites (Josef Šoukal, Vilém Juráň, Marika Kroutilová, Lubor Smericka, Marek Fiala, Zdeněk Liška, Ravi Hazarika, Radim Jansa, Tomas Pardek and more) as well as Jan Sohar from Radalytica a.s. and many others. It is always nice to see they are doing well having successfull business. 💪 🙂 👍 So overall, for us I consider this airshow worth visiting when meeting customers, but regarding business development, there are better shows to visit. 🚀 Unleashing Precision with Skygauge's Force-Torque Sensor! One of the biggest challenges when working at heights is just keeping the drone in contact with the structure, and applying steady, consistent force to the underlying wall regardless of the surrounding conditions. The Skygauge drone uses a force torque sensor mechanism located behind the probe, which lets the drone “feel” the wall and automatically adjust its position and orientation to compensate for wind. The video shows how the drone moves its arms to remain in contact with the wall - all with zero pilot input. This makes the Skygauge drone easy to use, and is a big part of why training on the Skygauge drone only takes 3-5 business days for an experienced drone pilot. It is also why our readings have the same level of precision as the human hand.
