This video outlines how the Liberals tanked Canada’s energy sector, driving energy investment in oil south of the border, anywhere but Canada. Shannon Stubbs knows this file inside out! We all use oil and gas, regardless whether you want to be green. We all want clean air, clean water. That is not debatable. But farmers need diesel and propane. And most Canadians cannot afford an EV or a hybrid. Are electric cars and batteries even the answer? Someone is making a lot of money off this Just Transition though and our tax dollars are funding it. The powers at be invest outside of Canada, powering Asia, Russia and China. Is our government trying to ruin Canada? Our transfer payments RELY on Alberta oil. Our power grid is already damn clean compared to the rest of the world too. Instead of balancing the budget, Trudeau wants to Just Transition, at all costs. He ignores polls, his popularity has dropped off a cliff and yet he continues to run Canada further in debt. Families need to buy food, pay for housing, new families and young adults cannot go it alone, either moving home or finding shared apartments or emigrating out of Canada. Our birth rate will further decrease. Trudeaus deficit budget and increase in the capital gains tax only hurts Canada, adding further inflationary pressure and driving more doctors and entrepreneurs away from coming to Canada. Canada is energy rich, the oil industry is cleaner than any other, this is Common Sense. Let’s sell our LNG to Germany and India, use our cleaner energy to help foreign countries lower their emissions. Bring Home the investments, and Axe the tax. Trudeaus pride is too big, he won’t stop, we need an election.

Shooters in houses of worship. Gangs attacking mass transit commuters in New York. Deadly road and club/bar rage. Youngsters killing youngsters. Antisemitic, racial attacks on campuses and public spaces. Media that feeds on and entertains with violent news clips and programming. Political circles that further divide for advantage. We have long since abandoned our dedication to civil society and become a house divided. We are strangers to one another and to ourselves. The center no longer can hold. And enemies are at the door. So where do we go from here? First, we need to take a long look at ourselves. Do we in what we say and do contribute even in a small way to the discord/negativity around us? Do we look for/bring out the best or the worst in others? How does that reflect our attitude toward ourselves? Do we do exactly what our employer/client wants even if that may not be for the best of our community? Do we spend most of our time working and what’s left with family/friends? Do we ever spend time in prayer? In a previous post, I included a video discussing the Christo-Fascism which is an ideology embraced by the alt-right wing of the Republican Party comprising the MAGA movement that our former President introduced when he first announced his run for President in June of 2015. And in a more recent post, I shared a video where AOC alludes to the growth of that fascist movement while simultaneously distancing herself from the fascism that also exists within the Democratic Party based on the elimination of a Democratic Primary Election where candidates should be given the right to challenge the current leadership. In addition, it is the income and wealth inequality, a key characteristic of fascism that has led to even wider disparities and inequities among racialized and minoritized communities. I want to share this video today on this historic UN-designated International Holocaust Remembrance Day as a call to reject and end fascism in all of its forms. In deepening our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, we do so by upholding our own values and ensuring that those we elect into office are held to even higher standards so that they too reflect our values and MLK’s legacy of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
