The goal of the Nelson Mandela Leadership Dialogue is to start a conversation about the issues of governance and development that young people in the Global South face. Discussed was how intergenerational and multi-actor approaches might lead to transformative outcomes. Our backgrounds and experiences as leaders in Christian communities have shaped our understanding of effective leadership, sparking our interest in promoting ethical leadership within religious settings. This has led us to investigate how Authentic Leadership can enhance engagement within immigrant church communities in the United States of America, especially in a world marked by cultural diversity and migration. Understanding these dynamics offers insights into how leadership can unite diverse backgrounds, fostering a cohesive and engaged community.
