Exciting news! 🎉 On 13 July, 37 students graduated from the AMI 3-6 Diploma course at Msimbazi in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The students from from Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Ethiopia all received scholarships through the support of the Arthur Waser Foundation. The journey of the AMI International Diploma course in Tanzania began in 1968. Following four successful courses, Muriel Dwyer designed a national course tailored to the educational needs of Tanzania and Kenya. 📚 After a 50-year hiatus, the AMI International Diploma Course started again in 2017, aiming to enhance the quality of Montessori education in East Africa and provide professional development opportunities for experienced teachers. The 2022-2024 AMI Course marks another milestone as three Tanzanians have now started their AMI Training of Trainers. #montessorieducation #montessoridiploma #ami #montessori #amimontessori #montessoriteacher #teachertraining #globaleducation #choosemontessori
