The other day I managed to be fortunate to spend some time with much, much older person than me. This person was in their 90s. And I love hanging out with much older people because their wisdom and their stories about life. At the latter stages is just incredible and how they look at life. So I kind of asked him if he had any any regrets. And what he said was, I wish I had lived my life the way I wanted to live my life. And not what others expected of me. I thought that was really profound. And especially if you are an elite athlete. You need to play the game in the sport. The way you want to play it. And not the way your parents or your coaches want to play and want you to succeed. It has to come within, It has to come from you. And it all starts with the love of the game. So I just found it profoundly, unbelievably. What's the word mitten this. Young. Old man and his take on. Where and how we should have maybe lived his life. Maybe take a little bit of that and apply it to your sport and live the life that you want to live and play the game the way you want to do it.
