‼️PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT‼️ Are you considering hiring an agency recruiter to run your search? Then you need to keep reading ⬇️⬇️⬇️ The majority of 3rd party agency recruiters don’t make it out of year 1. And many are weeded out within 2 quarters of being hired. So if the recruiter you’re considering working with is well tenured (4+yrs), that means they are either: 1. Extremely talented and won’t come cheap 💸💸💸 OR 2. Mentally ill and a glutton for punishment 🤣🤣🤣 #aam #evtol #drones #recruiting #advancedairmobility

Flying with an FAA Part 107 Drone is akin to holding a Professional License, requiring knowledge of FAA and state laws. Professional services should only be offered by the pilot, who has the authority to make decisions in consultation with the client for market or project specifics. It's essential for employees to respect the pilot's decisions on-site. Branding services should involve mutual respect, with zero tolerance for bullying in marketing practices. Private conversations between clients and employees must be handled with respect, and any breach should be reported to the FAA. Unauthorized use of a pilot's photo is unacceptable, and empathy is key before passing judgment. Remember, it's crucial to understand and support each other in this professional space. #FAA #Part107 #DronePilot #ProfessionalEtiquette

I’m chuffed to bits this week! 68 and I’ve still got the ability to study! Pleased to say that in the last week I’ve completed and passed the EASA A1-A3 drone flyers exam, the EASA A2 exam and the UK A2 CoC exam. So, confession time, I went to my second home in Greece and sort of automatically took my Mavic 3 Pro with me. Then, when I arrived and thought it through, I realised I haven’t got a flyers licence in the EU except for a Mini. Now I’m going to spend more time in Europe (4 months this year, so far) so a bit of time investment was the answer. I settled on the Netherlands based course from Drone Class. They had a 20% discount at the time as well, making it €159 for both courses and exams. Funnily enough, as I had no chance of flying the drone I had some time on my hands so I did 2 – 3 modules a day (whilst not at the beach) and passed the exam on Monday. I can now fly my Mavic 3 Pro in Europe! (and Norway, Iceland and Switzerland) and any others upto 2 kg, for the next 5 years. On Tuesday I flew back to the UK, not just to the wet and cold but to a reminder that my PDRA Operational Authority from the CAA expires at the end of the month, so as a back up, and with the knowledge that I’d already studied practically the same exam in Greece I signed up for the A2 Certificate of Competence through The UAV Academy. They currently have a 50% discount if you are a member of the BMFA or the British Drone Flyers – so £49 for an A2 CofC certificate. I had a brief look at the lesson plan (just checking it wasn’t too different) and took the exam yesterday. 87% isn’t too shabby for an old duffer. With a pass mark above 75% I am now certified both in the UK ad throughout Europe. This also means I can fly an FPV up to 500g close to consenting people (which will be handy when I fly my Avata 2). Now – if anyone has use of my talents (and knowledge) take a look at my website https://lnkd.in/eGBuNjBc , by all means, and/or drop me a line or give me a call. I can't wait to take to the air again.
