We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Davie, Florida): Qualifications • Bilingual English/Spanish required. • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree, Trade School Certificate and/or Military Technical Training, a plus) Equivalent work experience may be substituted for technical/vocational experience. College or formal technical school education with demonstrated aptitude and skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and welding techniques preferred. • 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance industry, preferably in GMP environment. • Technical Knowledge in the manufacturing process of solid dose, Tablet presses, Capsule machines, coaters, and Blenders etc. preferred. • Must have legible handwriting, and the ability to perform accurate documentation. • Good basic math skills. • Must be organized, capable of following instructions, and have the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. • Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team unit goals, objectives, and activities. • Understand SOPs, GMP, safety guidelines and have the ability to complete all required documentation. • Should be familiar with safety protocols associated with lock out/tag out. • Ability to work without close supervision and to set one’s own priorities. • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods of time. • Proficient with computer systems.
