Lessons learned - Crafting a corporate film for a textile giant felt like weaving through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk—full of surprises at every turn. Here's the cliff notes version of our rollercoaster ride: 1. Lost in Translation: Our journey resembled a Bollywood plot twist, where miscommunication reigned supreme. Lesson learned? Swap the "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" guessing game for clear communication. Be the Simran to your client's Raj—chase after clarity until every expectation sings in harmony. 2. Creative Clash: Picture a Bollywood director trying to shoot a Hollywood flick. Balancing our edgy creativity with the client's expectations was like serving biryani at a pizza party. The takeaway? Spice up your creativity, but remember to throw in some paneer for the desi palate and keep your team's jadoo alive. 3. Footage Fiasco: Drowning in a sea of footage, we felt like extras in "Lagaan" facing an endless over. The solution? Don't let your project become a Bollywood plot with too many dance numbers. Before hitting that edit button, declutter your clips so only the hero shots make it to the big screen. Your computer will thank you, and so will your editor.
