Excited to share an interesting approach to balancing performance and cost in two-hop communication networks from a recent paper. Instead of competitive relays, the authors propose that relays form an alliance and act cooperatively to maximize relay revenue. This approach is noticeably faster than the state of the art, requiring only two agents to be trained for the Stackelberg framework, and it delivers results 2.9% away from the optimal solution. A very cool innovation in the field. #ReinforcementLearning #Stackelberg #GameTheory
