Synthetic biology up until now has followed a horizontal model, meaning scientific solutions have been achieved at a small scale and much of it has not seen the light of day. Ilaria Lebano, our Head of Biostimulant Microbial Technologies, is the leading author of a peer-reviewed paper published in the “Scientific Report” journal that shows the benefits of MALDI-TOF MS analysis, the Atessa Research Center in-house technology, for the study and comparison of large microbial datasets.
