Each year, Arapahoe County’s Aid to Agencies provides more than $500,000 in competitive grant funding to human-centered organizations that serve vulnerable residents. Those funds are at risk due to a significant budget shortfall that the County is facing in 2025. Hear from Doctors Care Colorado, one of the nonprofits that relies on those funds to serve our community. You can learn more about Aid to Agencies at https://lnkd.in/gTpmHWCC and find more details on the budget shortfall at acbudget.com.

We already know that the government grant system is broken and needs fixing. What’s news is that reforms are working their way through Congress and the Administration. Nonprofits need to take action now to help turn the proposals into reality. Join a National Council of Nonprofits' webinar, "The Urgency of Government Grants Reform for Your Nonprofit," on November 20 to hear from experts, like MCN's Nonoko Sato, on the consequences of bad grantmaking policies and learn legislative and regulatory solutions that your nonprofit can help influence to ensure reduced burdens, greater access to funding, and better outcomes.
