Just amazing well done to super mum Jean🐾❤️🦮
Did you know that guide dog mums will occasionally take on puppies from another litter, if they’ve given birth at a similar time? Guide dog mum, German shepherd Jean, recently had a litter with a single pup. Guide dog mum Nara, black golden retriever x Labrador, also had a litter born around the same time, but due to health issues Nara's litter needed a little extra help 🐾 With seven days age difference between Jean’s single puppy and the five pups fostered to her, we are thrilled to report how well Jean accepted and cared for her extra pups 🐶 [Visual description: A group shot of Jean and Nara's combined litter. One yellow pup is lying asleep facing away from the camera whilst two of their siblings are also asleep with their heads resting on the pup lying down. Behind the group, sitting, is one other yellow pup and Jean’s single German shepherd pup. All pups are sat/lying on a brown and white fluffy blanket and there are plant pots in the background] #Foster #Fostering #Canine #Group #GuideDogs #GuideDog #GuideDogMum #Help #DidYouKnow
