I'm better than you! I find it sad having to discuss this in today's world, knowing that cycles aren't changing. Why do some people feel they have the right to tell their peers what they can and cannot do or what they should or shouldn't do? I encourage anyone to stand up and say "NO!" even if they prefer to avoid confrontation. I advise them that the behaviour they are subjected to is sadly not limited to them; that there shall always be some people, regardless of age, that feel the need to try to place themselves above others. I reiterate that they are a person's equal and a person's bullying ways screams out an insecurity in themselves. Why does this cycle continue? Why can't some people focus on their own matters? Why is it they only find bravado when their pack surrounds them? Why do some people deal with it more philosophically? Simple. In David's Hawkins levels of consciousness, pride is at the top of force based energies. Most people find it hard to move through pride onto courage and enter into the power energies. Why? Because we have worked our way up through difficulties and let go of so many emotions that do not serve us, and now we are content to stay in pride of our efforts. I thought I did not have any pride! Well that was a falsehood. I am proud of my teaching and all the children and families I have supported. Acknowledging your efforts is great as hard work and consistency needs that awareness. But there is a thin link between pride and arrogance. Arrogance is believing you are right and making others wrong. It is believing yourself to be better than others. It is a comparison game rather than an inclusion game and does not foster connection. Pride comes before a fall - and it is all too easy to slip from pride to shame which is the lowest level on the consciousness scale. We want to instill a sense of pride into our children, not through the results they achieve but by the effort they make. Letting them make mistakes and having a go on their own is so important to develop their resilience. Be proud of your efforts and keep putting in the work. When discussing DEI, it's important to remember that our words impact those around us. Let's strive to approach these complex issues by nurturing a space for meaningful dialogue and growth, dedicated to meeting individuals where they are in their journey of healing or recognizing the influence of their privilege, bias, or prejudice. With a steadfast commitment to lead them toward a realm of equity and compassion, let's keep the conversation going. We don't need to resort to aggression and hostility to convey our message. In fact, doing so can perpetuate the very harm we're trying to heal. Remember, hurt people hurt people. Let's aim to bring empathy and understanding to the table with gracious anger and resilience. The idea of having to feel influential and respected is a natural trait of every human being. Authentically, we were created to have dominion and control over the earth but with compassion , love and care. Every individual has a natural desire to be powerful, from children to adults. But, as it stands, not everyone achieves this feast. Why ??? We crave power because of who we are as human beings. So when you ask every person if they would like to be powerful and respected... They will say YES... Therefore, people do outrageous things like manipulation, bullying, and deception to get power. The quest for power has made some people sell out their integrity typical a lot to mentioned. People do the unimaginable by even killing their brethren. Instead, some engage in unnecessary brawls to attain this status. People put themselves in situations they wouldn’t try ordinarily. It’s a natural tendency for all humans to seek power because that’s how we are power-driven beings. For power, people abused their brethren without caring that they are human beings just like themselves. And thats what I think not realy.even okay... What makes one powerful To attain power and respect in the ancient days means destroying your fellow human beings They have passed this attitude and programming down from generation to generation to us. So, to attain power, most of us think we have to bully or destroy someone. But you’ll notice if you’re observing that this concept isn’t power. Instead, it’s an abuse of the other person. We need to take care as well our attitudes and behavior by doing so. We normally attain power from being what we want other people to be for us. True power comes from service, by doing what we want others to do for us. We get power and respect by making other people’s problems ours and helping solve them. The foundation of our traits is laid in the tapestry of family environment, shaped by the consistent and positive influence of our parents and guardians. As Maya Angelou wisely noted, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." In the maze of today's world, young minds navigate numerous influences, some authentic and others fleeting illusions of what's considered "hip" or "cool." There are many good humans still out there. YES, I have met them!! They are humble, living quiet lives. They don't think more of themselves than they should. They help others both privately and openly, and they do it without needing recognition. These are good, honest souls, continuously working for a better world, never complaining. They are strong beyond belief. 💕 Love them. Pray for them. 💌 But sadly, they are often overshadowed by the constant flood of misinformation and shocking news. Our culture has become so focused on the sensational that the truly good people, who care deeply for others, are kept behind the scenes. 😥 It’s unfortunate that when we do meet someone like this, our first instinct is often suspicion. We live in a world where honesty can be mistaken for naivety, and kindness can be perceived as weakness. Yet, there are those who remain true to themselves, even in a world that often doesn't appreciate them. These good people might not always have it easy, especially in a society that often values self-interest over empathy. But goodness is something we are born with, and for those who choose to cultivate it, it becomes a lifelong commitment—one that comes with both little rewards and heavy burdens. ☀ On the bright side, people with a strong character and a kind nature can be a beacon of hope for those who are struggling. They may be rare, but they are out there, quietly making the world a better place. Most may not fit this description, living solely for themselves, but that only makes those who do all the more precious.
