Yes, India may overtake China if China stagnates or slows its growth while India continues to rise - However, a 10%+ increase may be required to outgrow China by 2047; if it is needed by 2028, we are talking about 10%++. More importantly, who will take advantage of the technological progress that will occur between now and 2028 or 2047? While India is capable, it lacks a trendsetting mindset when it comes to technological innovation, preferring to follow suit. Therein lies the crunch.
