Kia ora team, Te Kura Tuatahi o Wēteri - Wesley Primary School will be sending our year 5 and 6 students (69 students) to camp hosted at The Institute of Awesome https://inawe.nz/. We are hoping to subsidize as much of the costs for our families to remove the barriers to attending our camp EOTC experience held on 20 to 22 November - this term. Last year, we were blessed by 88 donors who gave over $10k, primarily because of a post shared by Jenny Burke (thanks Jenny!). This year our school community was hit hard, due to the Auckland Anniversary floods and through the amazing support of so many organizations like @ARKPuketāpapa, Kindness Collective Foundation, MinterEllisonRuddWatts and many others, we were able to help our families get back on their feet. Our kids would love to go to school camp again this year and we are hoping to get every child to camp who wishes to attend.
