Each mold is carefully crafted to hold the molten glass as it cools and hardens into its unique form. Once the glass has set, the mold is no longer needed, and this phase involves breaking it to free the artwork. The molds are used only once, ensuring that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. This process, known as lost-wax or glass casting, emphasizes the exclusivity of each sculpture, as no mold can be reused. By mastering this technique, we transform raw materials into timeless masterpieces, creating art that embodies both skill and creativity.

Light, Reclining Forms Series, working model, 2019 The Reclining Forms sculpture series is imagining in undulating planes the energetic shape of the human being in repose, instead of its anatomy. In a similar way, the ancient Greek sculptor worked out of a sense of his own body rather than copying a model. The leaf-like forms bring the human being in connection with nature; the mirror finish reflects images like a lake or pond. The many transitions between planes show a state of constant change, a visual style that connects to the artist's experience of life and relationships. The sculptures are not fixed to the base and can be handheld and interacted with.
