Camo TV If you don’t want your television to be the focal point of your living space, try painting the wall behind it black. This will essentially camouflage it, making it much less dominant from a visual perspective. #jeanclark #bayleyswhanganui #bayleysnz #altogetherbetter #realestateagent #realestate #whanganuirealestate #manawaturealestate #property #whanganui #lifestyle #lifestyleproperty

Life Magazine did a story about the end of the theater industry and published it August 13, 1951. Funny thing about this article, take Cable TV, Internet Streaming or any other theater killer and sub it in the article for the word Television and this article could have been written today. Let’s not loose site of the fact we as humans are very social, we laugh harder, we cry harder, and we smile more when we are in groups. Our industry continues to evolve as we have since Life Magazine published this article in 1951. We are here to stay! We just look a little different than we did in 1951. https://lnkd.in/gVVzr2e8 Starts on Page 102

Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line (1998) and The New World (2005) are reminders of what masterful filmmaking can look like, in a world obsessed with fast content, and a reminder that films can be experiences as much as they can be mindless escapes. Here I share some reflections on these movies and how they have inspired me to approach my own craft. #filmmaking #cinematography

Logline: Three friends gain supernatural abilities and they use them to make changes to the political system through deceit, manipulation, and murder. This is a dramatic scene with explicit language. My partner and I set out to produce an independent TV pilot. It took us one year of pre-production, one year of production, and two years of post production. We had no budget, but we did own all of the equipment. I am most proud of this pilot out of everything I’ve done, including my Netflix credits, feature films with named actors, sketch comedy, etc. We screened our pilot multiple times to a limited audience with the conclusive feedback that everyone wanted to watch more. A composer in Europe saw the project and loved it so much that he created a complete original score for free. It took us 45 days of active filming, and 8 days of ADR. We edited the entire 55 minute cut and did the full color grade as well as the audio engineering. When I say we, I am referring to two people only ; my partner (director / gaffer / cinematographer/ writer ) and myself. I am so grateful for this experience. I’ve never been one to wait for opportunity. I believe in the work. I don’t need anyone to validate my art or my passion. I am content with the fact that I continue to grow in my craft daily. We currently have investors interested in funding the entirety of season one and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Hardwork always pays off. Never give up on yourself. #filmmaking #filmproduction #independentfilm
