We are delighted to announce that the Hortensia Herrero Art Centre has won the National Geographic +History Award in the category of 'Best Historic Building Restoration.' 🏛️ This recognition highlights the remarkable restoration of the Valeriola Palace, blending history with contemporary art. The undertaking has thoughtfully preserved the memory of spaces such as the chapel, the Arab courtyard, and the original 19th-century façade. Congratulations to the architects at ERRE arquitectura and Fundación Hortensia Herrero for their outstanding work on this unique project to recover Valencia's architectural heritage.
