LEO commercialization of space is making progress.
On Sept. 11, we hosted NASA at our Eldorado campus and conducted Milestone 5 of our Interim Design Review, under CCSC-2 - part of our NASA Space Act Agreement (S.A.A.). During the review, we summarized the architecture of our Pathfinder mission and introduced our detailed analysis of the route to launch. CCSC-2 aims to foster the commercialization of the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) economy through a "pathfinder" space station on-orbit that demonstrates key elements of future commercial space stations.

When we talk about the futile efforts of physics scientists and the deviation of public opinion and misuse of science, we must point to this clear example: https://lnkd.in/d8REEmAG Physicists know very well that their efforts to measure many subatomic particles from the Big Bang are futile. But they still try to measure them and spend the taxpayers' budget. This means that even if it is successful, it is not worth much. Meanwhile, they do not make any efforts for the third type aerosols that left the water environment and dried up due to the construction of water structures and entered the atmosphere. Aerosols that have dried up the world's trees and atmospheric lenses are carrying out the mission of the natural suffocation cycle of the earth and the rapid evaporation of water and desertification of many countries, which are undoubtedly not important for physics scientists. Yes, the efforts to understand the concept and how the world is formed are valuable, but it is valuable at a time when before that we can provide the possibility of living in this world for humans! https://lnkd.in/d-r2tm5y #NewScientificTheoryOfTheEarthNaturalSuffocationCycle #BehavioralPhysicsofNaturalColloidalParticles #climateresilience #DVK #netzero #climatechange #CO2 #carbonemissions #StateOfClimate #Mark #Foed #wildfire #airquality #climatescience #earthobservation #earthscience #earthsciences #meteorology #atmosphere #atmospheric #earthscience #aerosol #InternationalDayofCombatingSandandDustStorms #opendata #wildfires #globalwarming #showusthedata #geopoliticalrisk #ipccreport #politik #Copernicus #WHO #IPCC #UNClimateChange #NOAA #Cop10 #AirPollution #Air #AirReport #NASA #COP28 #IAEA #EPA #ipccreport #globalwarming #climatecrisis #COP26 #temperature #unavoidableopportunity #climateresilience #ActOnClimate #wildfires #data #oceans #globalwarming #technology #netzero #scenarios #ClimateAction #oilandgas #lowcarbon #Fossilindustrie #Produktion #FDP #africa #water #drought #extremeweather #climatecrisis #foodcrisis #climate #climatescience #earthobservation #earthscience #geology #environmentalscience #sciencenews #scienceeducation #sciencecommunication #abpoli #cdnpoli #anthropocene

What Happened After Neil Armstrong Stepped Foot on the Moon? 🌑 On the last episode of #ZNLive, we welcomed Remco Timmermans space #EUinfluencer and expert, as he guided us through the last 50 years of evolution in the space industry, which he sees as the upcoming challenge for communicators to explain. 🚀 While the space industry's past milestones, like the moon landing, are well-known, there's much more to the story! Remarkable advancements have been made since Neil Armstrong's iconic steps on the lunar surface. From over 135 space shuttle missions to bustling activity on numerous space stations orbiting our planet, the space industry has been a hub of innovation and progress. 🧑🚀 Yet, there's a challenge: despite its monumental achievements, the modern face of space exploration often goes unnoticed. While NASA logos adorn shirts worldwide, few truly grasp the magnitude of the industry's current endeavors. 👕❗ As a #OneStepAhead space communicator, Remco is on a mission to change that narrative! Humanity is bound for the stars, but we must preserve the outer space environment now in order for future generations to succeed. Today, I announced volume one of NASA’s integrated space sustainability strategy—our whole-of-agency strategy for tackling this dire issue. Volume one addresses Earth orbit—the first of the four domains where action is most critical. We commit to releasing similar strategies for the other three domains. Humanity is witnessing the aerospace ecosystem undergoing rapid changes. Every day, it seems, there is a new entrant into the space market who wants to tap into the rewards of exploring the cosmos. However, the truth is, with all the new entrants, activity, and capabilities, we’re making it harder on ourselves without a comprehensive strategy for space sustainability. If we want to keep growing in a positive direction, we must organize ourselves better to preserve the outer space environment for generations to come. Our new space sustainability strategy leverages our scientific and technical expertise to focus on further advancements the agency can make to address the mounting challenges, including providing global leadership, supporting equitable access to space, and ensuring NASA's missions and operations enhance space sustainability. Check this out viewers NASA Holoportation is an exciting technology that blurs the lines between science fiction and reality. Let’s dive into it: What Is Holoportation? Holoportation enables real-time, interactive communication between individuals who are physically separated by vast distances. Unlike traditional holographic projections, holoportation requires the use of an augmented reality headset, such as Microsoft’s HoloLens. With holoportation, users can perceive and interact with 3D representations of remote participants in their actual location. NASA’s Pioneering Achievement: In a groundbreaking achievement, a NASA flight surgeon, Josef Schmid, was holoported to the International Space Station (ISS). Using Microsoft’s holoportation technology, Schmid appeared as a virtual presence on the ISS, engaging in real-time conversations with ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet and other team members. This technology bridges physical gaps, allowing Earth-based researchers to collaborate with astronauts orbiting the planet hundreds of miles above. How It Works: A special camera captures a holographic image of a subject. The image is then sent to the HoloLens of a participant at the destination. The wearer of the HoloLens perceives the subject as a digital 3D hologram, enabling interaction as if both parties were in the same place. Future Implications: Imagine bringing experts or instructors virtually to any location. For example, having the actual designer of a complex technology guide you wherever you’re working on it. Fully two-way holoportation interactions are the next step, where both participants wear augmented reality headsets to engage seamlessly. In summary, holoportation is more than just a sci-fi dream—it’s a tangible technology that connects us across vast distances, whether on Earth or in space. 🌌🚀✨
