What a thought-provoking campaign by Beardo, one that strongly reflects Marico's belief in inclusivity and embraces the freedom of individuality and self-expression. We have been committed to creating an environment where every individual feels empowered to be themselves. We celebrate diversity in all its forms, including personal style choices. In a world where conformity has long been the norm, it's great to see Beardo leading the charge to challenge these stereotypes and celebrate the power of authenticity with #BeardsAtWork campaign. It is a great attempt to spark conversations about beard-inclusivity in the corporate world. While it's heartening to see that society's perception of a well-maintained beard as a symbol of professionalism has evolved over time, there's more to be done. Let's redefine professionalism together, breaking free from the mould and embracing the uniqueness within each of us. Join us in championing this inclusive movement and normalising the normal. #worldbeardday #Beardo #marico
On this World Beard Day, we challenge the enforced shaving norms in campus placements. A well-groomed beard isn't just a style statement, it's a mark of confidence and commitment. It takes a significant amount of time and energy to groom a beard – if anything it is a showcase of commitment. On World Beard Day, we salute all the bearded professionals who bring their A-game not just to their grooming, but also to the workplace. While well-groomed beards are now more accepted in modern workplaces, this spirit of self-expression has not translated as effectively to campus placements where young individuals are forced to shave for placement interviews. It's clear that this gap needs to be bridged - between the classroom and the real world. 1yIt's high time we as professionals start acknowledging unnecessary social conformity norms and act to overcome.
