Now that we are in the summer months (are we??) a lot of thought goes into the next academic session. One of the things I have been talking about in LSIPs and regional areas has been digital skills. We hear about the need for these skills, along with behavioural skills, and the importance of them. There is also a lot more FE Colleges and Apprenticeship providers recognising the benefit of these and looking to establish their learner's abilities in this area. Without good digital skills are your learners going to be able to effectively engage with online content, navigate resources and really flourish on their main programme of study? Good digital skills will improve retention, engagement and attainment as the learner can access all parts of the course. We have solutions that allow you to assess a learner's ability as well as being put on a programme to upskill in the areas lacking. Why not take a look at our Digital Functional Skills offer, where for £25 you can access initial/diagnostic assessment, skills plans, online learning, teaching resources and an external assessment that gives results in 6 working days.
