From Sixth Semi-Annual Hospital Price Transparency Report Feb 2024 https://lnkd.in/eXTFsVpD "Among the 689 compliant hospitals, some posted exemplary files – easily accessible, downloadable, machine-readable, and including all negotiated rates by payer and plan: ▪ Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, MA" Results: Based on our review, we estimate that only 34.5% of the 2,000 hospitals (689/2,000) are in compliance with all of the price transparency rule requirements. We estimate that 65.5% (1,311/2,000) are noncompliant, because one or more price transparency requirements were not met. Interestingly, 103 of the hospitals we found to be noncompliant in our July 2023 report are now compliant; however, 135 of the hospitals deemed compliant in the July 2023 report were found to be noncompliant in this report.
