Do you think you can juggle clinical rotations, exams, and life as an NP student? 🤹♀️ Oh, honey... Brace yourself for a reality check that'll hit harder than your caffeine crash at 3 AM. ☕️ Let's be honest for a second… Balancing clinical placements, exams, and personal life is like trying to solve a Rubik's cube while riding a unicycle blindfolded in a hurricane. 🌪️ But hey, who needs sleep or sanity, right? Just kidding—this journey is tough, and we know it. 🥴 Being an NP student isn't easy. And finding a preceptor? That’s the biggest challenge NP students have to overcome. 🏋️♀️ The good news is that you don't have to face it alone. We're here to help you navigate this journey. 💪 #NPLife #WhoNeedsSleepAnyway #NPHub

Colleagues and friends, Will I see you at the NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education national conference this year? Please send me a message and let's try to connect. One of my major efforts this year is developing a professional development template and plan for student services staffers at SPH. I know that having NASPA in town will be a huge win for collecting resources, references, leads, and connections toward that end. Anyway, hmu. Best, JR #NASPA #studentdevelopment #studentaffairs #studentservices #graduatestudents #professionaldevelopment

As we are about to commence the 2024/2025 admission process, please ensure to follow these guidelines: -Choose Fountain University as your 1st choice: Candidates who score 140 and above must have selected us as first choice to ensure we receive your JAMB data and can process your admission. You may wish to change to Fountain University if you haven't done that before. - Upload O-Level results & documents on JAMB CAPS: Make sure to upload your O-Level results and other required documents on JAMB's Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for a smooth admission process. - Pay only ₦2000 for Post-UTME screening on our website: Pay the authorized ₦2000 fee for Application Processing on our official website, and avoid paying individuals to avoid scams. - Note: All admissions will be through JAMB CAPS: Remember that all admissions will be processed exclusively through JAMB CAPS, so beware of illegal admission offers without JAMB in the equation. - Stay updated on our admission timeline: Visit our website www.fuo.edu.ng/admission to stay informed about our admission schedule and deadlines. I passed through the #JohnsHopkins MPH office and ended up in a long chat with the program chair. (Here are four takeaways I can share) 1️⃣ Increasing Competition ⌦The application process is becoming more competitive. ⌦Many applicants receive some form of funding, especially those applying for dual degree programs. → So the dual degree is becoming increasingly competitive 2️⃣ Personal Statements ⌦A significant number of applicants face rejection due to their statements. ⌦Many lack a clear explanation of why they want to pursue an MPH. ⌦The “why MPH” is crucial for determining if a candidate gets accepted. So you can't apply for a program when you can't convince the admissions committee why you need it. 3️⃣ Start Early ⌦Early preparation is essential. ⌦Delays in the WES evaluation process constitute a significant obstacle for many applicants. ⌦Starting the application process early can make a big difference. 4️⃣ Shortened Application Cycle ⌦The application cycle will be shortened by a couple of weeks. ⌦Instead of the usual January 15th or 30th deadline, the priority date is likely moving to January 1st. For those considering applying, take these points to heart. Good luck to all prospective students! ♻️ repost for others :) New here?
