I just reached the six-month mark of my Marketing & Writing Internship with GreenStone, and here are some of my key takeaways so far. (Featuring the fan favorite office plant) 😊 - In office collaboration goes so far. I love the hybrid work environment, don't get me wrong, but being able to walk over to my teammates desk and ask questions or walk through a project has been crucial to my growth in my internship. - Being proactive with the workload. I find so much value in offering my help to my teammates, and I've gotten the chance to be heavily involved in projects that I might not have otherwise had the opportunity if I didn't ask or learn more about it. Along that note, being able to say no to projects when you don't have the capacity and finding the best workload balance. - Job shadowing is the easiest way to learn more about company functions and get to know your coworkers. I've found so much value in job shadowing not only my teammates, but multiple people across different departments. It's been a great six months in this position, I cannot wait to continue learning as the rest of summer progresses!

INTERNSHIP OPENS DOORS Completing two months of an internship gives lots of new learnings. This is my first internship. I’ve worked as a market research intern at VerdeXGlobal. I want to thank the whole VerdeXGlobal team for giving me a golden opportunity to enhance my skills and learn new things. Since the day I joined, I have learned new things and gained knowledge on various things. Because of this organization, I have learned to manage time and responsibilities effectively. I also got to know the importance of team ethics in a corporate environment. This experience has not only honed my analytical and research skills but also deepened my understanding of market dynamics in various sectors. These 2 months have been a transformative experience, equipping me with essential skills and knowledge to carry forward in my career. I am immensely grateful to the VerdeXGlobal team for their guidance, support, and the opportunity to contribute to such impactful work. Before joining the organization, I was very nervous about how to make new connections and adjust in the office. It was a very challenging phase for me as I had my semester exams going on. I was worried about managing my college exams and internship together, but this organization has been very supportive. VerdeXGlobal gave me work that did not feel burdensome. I have enjoyed working and learning new things in this organization. I realized my strengths and weaknesses and tried to overcome my weaknesses during this internship.
