February is LGBT+ History Month - and did you know that we are more likely to be pushed into homelessness? According to Crisis almost 20% have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives, with over 75% saying that this was due to family rejection. The challenge is even bigger for the trans community, with 25% saying that they have experienced homelessness. So what can we do? 🏳️🌈 Create communities that are welcoming 🏳️🌈 Create spaces that are safe 🏳️🌈 Offer jobs without judgement 🏳️🌈 Start supportive conversations 🏳️🌈 Take time to listen.
