However, putting this into practice isn't straightforward, especially with a lack of programmatic guidance. YOU’RE invited to take part in this online survey because as young people, you’re THE BEST placed to share what you need and want from this type of education. The things you need to know and want, to feel set for life. Periods are a natural part of life. However, millions of women and girls worldwide are hindered from achieving their full potential simply because they menstruate, and they don’t have access or resources to manage their menstrual health with dignity. It shouldn’t be like that.  At Leh Wi Lan, we are working for a #PeriodFriendlySierraLeone, where girls have access to menstrual hygiene products and relevant sexual and reproductive health information, so they can fully participate in school and thrive. New Publication ✨ : How do youth synthesize racialized experiences and work to dismantle systems of oppression? This article provides an overview of a Youth Participatory Action Research study that used Photovoice and community mapping to explore how structural violence, like racism, impacts the sexual and reproductive health of historically excluded youth as they navigate unjust socio-political landscapes. Two very important target points for #sdg3 would be 3.7 Universal Access to Sexual & Reproductive Care, Family Planning, & Education and 3.8 to Achieve Universal Health Coverage⚕ Creating a global culture of peace won't simply happen, but when we intentionally inspire and build frameworks for our planet and its people to not just survive but thrive, we take huge leaps towards this new normal! Life isn't something that we have to get through, but a gift to be cherished, lived, and done so with #globalcooperation. By ensuring access to services, education, and medicines, our global family is not only kept safe but able to practice living peacefully.
