Since 2020, these roles have been in high demand, but are they here to stay? This year's report offers a promising forecast, with the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion securing the No. 7 spot, marking the third consecutive year a DEI role has ranked among the fastest-growing jobs. However, the drop of four spots from last year's ranking suggests a need for cautious optimism. 📌 Referring to insights from DEI expert Monica Marquez, we aim to highlight why DEI remains crucial for business strategy and its direct impact on a company's financial performance. 🔐 Unlocking Talent Potential: DEIB as Business Strategy DEIB surpasses mere inclusivity. Effective DEIB leaders align strategies with company objectives, utilizing DEI as a business strategy to enable all talents to reach their fullest potential, thereby driving business success. 💰Product Inclusion and Profitability Product inclusion is transformative, ensuring diverse teams develop products for diverse groups. Fresh off the back of this week's B-Corp Assembly, and on the eve of March (B -Corp month), I have to confess ... I love that we're a B-Corp at Nature.   I love it helps reinforce the knowing that we’re doing the right thing by balancing our commercial nature against a relentless focus on giving back to our community, the environment, our people, and of course our clients.   I love the fact that being a B-Corp provides us with an elevated sense of purpose and meaning as a business, and that this permeates our team and culture. This isn’t about having the badge or our certification per se; it’s about what sits behind it – the behaviours, the standards, the things we do differently because of it. Truth is, we were already doing most of them before we embarked on the process, which is part of why we went down the path in the first place.   I love the fact that being a B-Corp means that no uncertain terms, we aren’t just in the business of consumer insights. Whilst we love that, and derive great reward from having positive impact on our clients’ businesses, being able to do this while standing for something bigger is just brilliant.    I also love the fact that we're connected to a national and global network of like-minded organisations. B-Corps come in all shapes and sizes: young, old, established, new, small, large, indie, corporate; and in the ranks of the certified B-Corps are some absolutely amazing and inspirational brands that I'm incredibly proud to be in the company of.   As a consumer, when I see a B Corp product on the shelf, or a business that's gone through the process of becoming a B Corp, that's a head turner for me. It tells me something about the owners and leadership: their values, their philosophies, and how they roll.     If you’re embarking on the B-Corp journey and I can be of assistance to you, DM me if you could do with some advice. It’s a big journey, but it’s worth it. #bcorp #purpose

Choosing to work in EDI can be a hard decision. The current state of EDI leadership feels threatened by the rise of anti-rights movements and questions about its return on investment. I fully understand the importance of EDI, having witnessed the negative impact of exclusionary practices in the workplace. Transitioning into this field as a career change can be daunting. In my mid-30s, after focusing on my children and working part-time, I made the decision to switch careers. Before doing so, I took the time to work on myself and address any insecurities. Meta's supplier diversity efforts are rooted in the belief that it is not just our job, but our responsibility to break down the barriers that can unlock economic opportunity for transformative, transgenerational impact. And, as a technology company that’s superpower IS connection, we have built procurement products and tools to ensure that there’s absolutely no excuse for anyone at Meta looking to engage a third party that they can’t find a qualified diverse supplier to compete for the business. 🔓 We’ve done this by removing barriers to access, with Single Sign-On tools like DSUL, our diverse supplier locator, which integrates it seamlessly with our procurement platform. 🔍 We’ve done this by building smart searches that embed supplier diversity values in the ranking and recommendation logic as well as nudges that inform a sourcing manager if they haven’t included diverse suppliers in their RFPs. 🤖 And we’re doing it with AI, experimenting with trained agents that can query our procurement history and metadata from diverse sources to surface the right supplier for the job in conversational chat channels.
