#Opportunities This question should juggle our mind a bit as we attempt to understand the concept of opportunity and seizing opportunities. #Narrative: At the end of a soccer game (in a league competition), the winning side/team earns 3points. The losing side gains nothing. In the event of a stalemate/draw, both teams each gains a point. #Question: How many points do each team have before kick-off? Let's engage please, I need feedback. The first correct answer would receive an appreciation😉😁

What are your tips for coaching a team?

I’m a baseball fan, Boston Red Sox fan actually. My great uncle was a pitcher and played with Babe Ruth. A good baseball coach knows how to coach each player individually. Some thoughts on “coaching” your team. Do you have anything to add to this list? • Understand who they are and what their strengths are to help them and their team. • Mentor them on best practices to prospect new business so they can succeed. • Review their territory and focus on strong potential customers. • Never micromanage them, unless they ask to be monitored closely. • Create weekly touch base meetings to review their progress and where they may need your support to grow their territory.

I quit baseball in 7th grade. I’m gonna ~attempt~ to explain Stakd’s sales strategy with baseball. You want to be focused on #3 👀 We organize our outbound sales effort into 3 main categories: reject, accept, and invest. 🔴 Reject - These are prospects are trying to accomplish 0-50% of Stakd’s core use-cases. AKA outside my strike zone. In other words, if I spent any time on prospects in this category, it’d be wasted time that could be spent on customers in my strike zone. Put simply: don’t swing! 🟡 Accept - These prospects are trying to accomplish 50-90% of Stakd’s core use-cases. AKA edge of the strike zone. I don’t invest time here, but if a deal like this fell into my lap, I’d take an approach I’ll share in a post this Friday. (Stay tuned). 🟢 Invest - These prospects leverage 90%+ of our core use-cases. AKA right in our strike zone. Ben Graves and I are laser focused on this ICP and spend hours thinking about how we can build for this group. Baseball players/fans. How did I do with this analogy?

How you respond to “no” is indicative of how you handle “yes”. Life is filled with “no” - In school, A’s and B’s only account for 20% of the grading scale. - In baseball, players are rewarded if they can get on base 20% of the time. - In real estate, you may look 100 properties before one even looks like a maybe. - In sales, you may reach out to 250 people to only have 2-3 respond. ————-Now flip these around. ————— - In school, C’s, D’s, & F’s make up 80% of the grading scale. - In baseball, players are not performing to success standard 80% of the time. - In real estate, you might have 1 out of 100 deals that looks like a maybe. - In sales .8% - 1.2% may respond to your reach out. Getting a no is the fastest route to your next yes. How we handle the misses and shortfalls is directly linked to how we will crush our yes’s. #castthenet #multifamily #sales #gettingtoyes #handlingobjection #growth

I just love reading and always look to see the connections between sports and sales. Maya Angelou's quote, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts," perfectly encapsulates the shared values between sports and sales. Resilience, mindset, teamwork, and leadership are essential in both domains. Whether you're on the field or in the sales arena, remember that success is about the courage to persevere in the face of adversity. Please do share your thoughts and views. #Sales #Sports #Resilience 🌟

Working on crosses is crucial for goalkeepers because it directly impacts their ability to command the penalty area and reduce the threat from attacking set pieces. Here are some key reasons why it is important: 1. Commanding the Box - A goalkeeper who is strong on crosses can dominate their area, especially during corners and wide free kicks. This reduces pressure on defenders and minimizes goal-scoring opportunities for opponents. 2.Decision-Making - Goalkeepers must quickly decide whether to stay on their line or come out for the ball. Effective training on crosses improves their ability to make these split-second decisions, balancing aggression and caution. 3. Positioning and Timing - Successfully handling crosses requires precise positioning and timing. Practicing these scenarios helps goalkeepers know when and where to intercept the ball, avoiding misjudgments that could lead to goals. 4. Confidence - A goalkeeper who is confident with crosses is less likely to panic under pressure, which instills trust in their defense. Confidence in aerial duels can also intimidate attackers, reducing their effectiveness. 5. Ball Distribution - After claiming a cross, a goalkeeper can quickly launch counter-attacks with accurate distribution. Working on crosses helps goalkeepers transition smoothly from defense to offense. Mastering crosses enables goalkeepers to assert control over their area, improve decision-making, and contribute to both defense and attack. #gkc1 #goalkeepercoach

What happens when an owner or a salesperson manages the sales team? Underperformance Take baseball legend, Pete Rose, as an example. When he became a "player-manager" of the Cincinnati Reds in 1984, his performance as a player declined from batting .356 to .264 and .219 in following years. Although the overall team wins improved from 70 to 89 and 86 in those same years, they never reached the playoffs. Moral of the story…. The "star" as "manager" usually becomes mediocre at both. It's nearly impossible to ride two horses at once. To learn more and begin on your path to growth, schedule a brief, 45-minute Sales Diagnostic Call: Let's have a discussion.
