🚀Going beyond carbon🚀 At BeZero, we’re known for our carbon ratings. But carbon projects are about so much more than just carbon mitigation. Carbon projects are the ultimate multitaskers – they can create jobs, improve air quality, protect endangered species, enhance ecosystem health, and so much more. However, at their worst, they can have unintended consequences like displacing communities or damaging ecosystems. That’s why I’m so proud to share that we’ve recently enhanced our toolkit for understanding the beyond carbon impacts of these projects. 🌱 After about three years at BeZero, I’m thrilled to see us supporting a carbon market that values projects of high beyond-carbon integrity. I’ve been researching beyond carbon and related products for BeZero since my early days at the company (and four offices ago!). Almost three years later, countless hours of careful research, 1,000s of project document reviews, and collaboration with brilliant minds of many different specialties, we have brought a product offering to reality.
