To achieve this, companies can hire a social media management team comprised of individuals with domain knowledge, social media expertise, and the ability to entertain followers. How would you phrase this hiring request? I want to add someone to my team who WANTS to be the “other projects as assigned” person. Who-when I have some kooky idea about social-wants to chase it meticulously and report back. Who thinks organizing mass amounts of content to be mined, researching selling on Pinterest, and filming a piece of content for a brand are equally as interesting. How should I phrase and look for that?

It's HARD. I struggled for a few months in lockdown to film tiktoks on the floor of my flat and the results were so poor I seriously reconsidered whether a career in social media was still for me. And social media pros will tell you "yeah you've just gotta make videos" as if making videos doesn't take FOREVER, on top of of the million other things we have to do. So we're hiring. Here are my immediate hires: → Video Creator: Short Video Specialist → Producer: Content Curator → Analyst: Performance Analyst → Performance: Ads Specialist → Community Manager: Engager → Social Support: Customer Support → Campaign: influencer, creator work → Employee Advocacy: Brand Promoter → Director: Strategy And the sprinkle on top would be to have dedicated platform specialists who know each channel like the back of their hand. But I guess the popular route is rolling it all into the single title of Social Media Manager, so whatever.
