As we approach Hari Raya, we can expect many Malaysians to travel cross-country to be reunited with their loved ones. However, we need to be reminded that accidents or breakdowns can happen and all necessary precautions should be taken to arrive safely at our destination. Allianz Road Rangers, a premium roadside assistance service for the company’s motor comprehensive policyholders, is on standby with a fleet of more than 300 tow trucks to be stationed across the country, ready to assist in the event of a breakdown or accident. Allianz Malaysia Berhad and Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (“Allianz General”) CEO, Sean Wang said that safety was paramount and this should always be the first thing on our mind as we plan our balik kampung journey. Allianz Road Rangers provides comprehensive roadside assistance, including quick repairs if possible or towing to an accredited workshop for various vehicle segments, including Private Cars, Motorcycles, Goods-Carrying Vehicles, and Electric Vehicles (EV). These benefits are subject to the entitlements and terms and conditions outlined in the policy. In the event of an accident, Motor Comprehensive policyholders can avoid touts and dubious workshops by calling 1-800-22-5542 for end-to-end insurance service. #AllianzMalaysia #allianzroadrangers #allianzroadassist

Speed Kills, Arrive Alive – Ukitaka Kufika Mapema, Anza Safari Mapema At Imana, we understand the importance of responsible driving, and we're here to share some crucial tips on avoiding over speeding — a leading cause of accidents on Kenyan roads. 1. Know the Speed Limits: Familiarize yourself with speed limits on different types of roads. Urban areas typically have lower speed limits to account for pedestrian traffic, while highways may permit higher speeds. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating speed limits and adhere to them diligently. 2. Stay Informed about Road Conditions: Kenya's diverse landscapes present various road conditions. Whether you're driving through city streets or rural areas, be aware of the terrain and adjust your speed accordingly. Rainy seasons can lead to slippery roads, requiring reduced speeds for safe driving. 3. Plan Ahead: Give yourself ample time to reach your destination. Planning ahead allows you to maintain a comfortable and legal speed, reducing the temptation to speed to make up for lost time. Factor in potential delays, traffic, and road conditions when scheduling your travels. 4. Maintain Your Vehicle: Regular vehicle maintenance is crucial for safe driving. Ensure that your brakes, tires, and other essential components are in optimal condition. A well-maintained vehicle responds better to sudden changes in speed, contributing to a safer driving experience. 5. Use Technology Wisely: Modern technology offers tools to assist drivers in maintaining safe speeds. GPS devices often provide real-time traffic updates, helping you plan alternative routes if necessary. However, always remember that technology should complement, not replace, your attention to the road. 6. Buckle Up: Imana Insurance Agency emphasizes the importance of wearing seat belts. Seat belts are not just a legal requirement, but they also significantly enhance your safety in case of an accident. Ensure that all passengers in your vehicle are also buckled up before hitting the road. At Imana Insurance, we prioritize your safety. For reliable insurance coverage and assistance, visit our website at www.imana.co.ke or give us a call at 0745 218 460. Request to IRDA to make Train Passenger Insurance Embedded with every ticket: Whether booked online or physically For several years, I have been assiduously campaigning for making the Railway Passenger Insurance the default option in the IRCTC train ticket booking portal. Though I have never understood why the ordinary passenger has to be given an option to purchase or not to opt for this unbelievably low priced insurance product (costing Just 35 paise per journey per person), atleast I was partially happy when last year IRCTC made this insurance the default option while purchasing the ticket online. Anyone not wanting to purchase this hugely beneficial insurance costing just 35 paise had to consciously opt out of it. In the horrible orissa double train mishap, where hundreds of passengers died and thousands got injured/hospitalised, very very few claims were made on the passenger insurance policy issuing companies. THE STARK REALITY WAS MOST OF THE PASSENGERS WERE NOT INSURED. WHAT A SHAME !!! I am requesting the insurance regulator who wants to make insurance for everyone a reality, to take up with the Railway authorities to make this passenger travel insurance embedded with each ticket purchased, whether through IRCTC online portal or physically in the train stations and counters. The millions of poor people who use the Indian Railways will bless the IRDA chairman if he manages to make this insurance compulsory and embedded with every ticket purchased. The current data shows that the insurance companies are making fantastic profit on this Railway passenger insurance scheme. An RTI query revealed that Pvt insurance firms got Rs 46 crore premium in 2 yrs, paid Rs 7 crore in claims to Railway passengers ! I request all my LinkedIn contacts and other socially conscious members to mount a campaign for making this extremely inexpensive passenger travel insurance compulsory and embed it within the price of each and every train ticket bought online or physically. Please think of the poor millions who travel and whose death in train accidents can devastate their families and do what you can to canvass for compulsory insurance of all passengers. Kindly write to the Chairman, IRDA and the Railway Ministry. Thanks.

Difference between Traffic Insurance and Comprehensive insurance (Kasko) for Vehicles in Turkey 🇹🇷🚘 Traffic Insurance (TRAFİK SİGORTASI) 🚔 Covers liability for material damage and bodily injury to third parties and is mandatory for vehicles in Turkey, whether they have Turkish or foreign plates. Turkish law sets the compensation limits for bodily injury and material damages as follows: ⭕ Material Damages 🛠 Per accident: 200,000 ₺ Annual total: 400,000 ₺ ⭕ Bodily Injury🚑 Per accident: 1,800,000 ₺ Annual total: 9,000,000 ₺ Kasko Insurance Covers partial or total damages to the insured vehicle against all risks, including natural disasters and acts of vandalism, in addition to some extra services such as roadside assistance, providing a replacement vehicle until the insured vehicle is repaired, and increasing the compensation limit for third-party damages to unlimited financial boundaries. #sigorta #insurance #trafiksigortası #kasko #insurance
