The Supreme Court is considering changing a rule (Chevron doctrine) that allows government agencies flexibility in interpreting unclear laws, potentially weakening their power to enforce environmental regulations. The cases involve a dispute in the fishing industry about monitor costs. If the rule changes, it could make challenging environmental rules easier, leading to confusion and conflicts in deciding environmental issues. #ChevronDoctrine #Regulations #NovakLaw #Environment #California https://lnkd.in/eGnMU_rP
