"Cracking the Collaboration Code" to allow individuals and teams to connect more authentically, engage more respectfully, and work more effectively together.
When your team is fully remote, with new members and leadership, how do you build engagement and commitment? It starts with creating a safe environment where every voice matters. It is also about creating some "rules of engagement" - your human ROE. The UMN Medical School Financial Analysts and Professionals team was all in during their time together. We started to draft out some ROE by exploring the importance of: ✅ Getting to know each other beyond the surface ✅ Checking in regularly to ensure everyone feels seen and heard ✅ Celebrating personal progress and giving recognition ✅ Establishing what mutual respect mean to the team ✅ Discovering ways to ensure every voice is part of the conversation Big thanks to Jodi Olauson for the invite and the team for rolling with the unexpected challenges—parking snags, tech hiccups, and getting turned around at the venue.
