Hi everyone - I am extremely excited to explore new challenges and opportunities in new roles and would appreciate your support. I have a lot in the tool belt including paper to profit startups, Enterprise level architecture and growth in both Enterprise Cloud/Hybrid Cloud as well as Cisco networking. The list goes on, but I am ready for anything you can throw at me. I love a new challenge. Thank you in advance for any connections, advice, or opportunities you can offer. #OpenToWork

It's important to remember that just because an employee is in their notice period, it doesn't mean their value to the company diminishes. These individuals have contributed to the success of the company and deserve to be treated with respect. As, it's the responsibility of the company to ensure that your team feels valued and appreciated, regardless of their employment status. By showing your employees respect during this transition, you foster a positive work culture and demonstrate your appreciation for their hard work and dedication. #employeeappreciation #workculture

This is everything...
No raise? I was talking to a new client yesterday who recently quit his job. I asked him why he left (it was a pretty good job). He told me that he did not get a raise last year. After 15 years with the company, he always got a review and a raise, but last year, was told raises were 'on hold.' Nothing happened to their revenue. In fact, they had modest gains. They cut half of his staff. He kept things moving. They expected him to continue to travel. He did. They eliminated his support staff. He pulled his own reports/booked his appointments. He gave his boss his resignation, 2 weeks notice and turned over his client lists. They immediately offered to bump his salary and restructure his commission package. He said, 'thanks, but no thanks.' "You are leaving us in a lurch" his boss said. But he graciously bowed out. Told them that the time to think about rewarding your team is long gone. He will land on his feet, but the company will scramble to backfill his role. Seems like a lot of work for a few thousand bucks and some words of appreciation. Don't take people for granted. There are plenty of places for them to go. #giveraises #successful #resumewriting

A lesson for all top line leaders when visiting stores. We only have very limited face time when we visit stores. A Store Visit from a District, Regional, VP, CEO is not: ⭐A Safari, where you need to take pictures of everything in a suspicious manner. ⭐The time to hold a Conference Call while walking the floor with your head down. ⭐A Witch hunt to find something wrong. 👉 Welcomed unless you are ready to help out when 3 Team Members called in sick. ⭐A C.I.A mission where your findings are kept secret. A Store Visit from a District, Regional, VP, CEO is a PHENOMENAL way to: 👍Celebrate victories; Individually or as a Group. 👍Work shoulder to shoulder with Team Members and get to know them as a person and not a number. 👍Demonstrate Team work by taking off that 1980’s shoulder padded suit jacket and cleaningthe windows. 👍Coach and correct opportunities in the moment. Simple? I think so, but how many of us tend to be robots and follow a script that was written in the 90’s by someone sitting in their office, high fiving themselves in a mirror. #StoptheMadness. Being a Supporter rather than a Reporter relieves the pressure of your visit and actually allows you to do the one one thing that is not in your job description: Be a #Coach.👌

I believe this... hate to think a boss would hold you back. But I've seen it done!
You may be passed over for promotion, if: 1. You’re doing your bosses work. 2. Your boss believes you are irreplaceable. 3. Your boss is unwilling or unable to do his job without your assistance. 4. Your boss fears that your promotion may result in your rise in the company surpassing them. 5. Your abilities and work ethic target you to finish other employees work assignments. 6. Your underpaid for your responsibilities and work product. 7. Your too busy working to notice opportunities in front of you. 8. You think those above your boss see your value. You may be invisible to them. 9. Your conditioned to believe it’s wrong to seek employment with another company. 10. You believe life is fair and you will receive fair consideration if you don’t stir the pot.
