The Times Health Commission’s 10 recommendations to save the NHS Welcome the Times Health Commission report, which the Danish Health Diplomacy in the UK, as well as Healthcare Denmark and national peers has helped provide inspiration for. The commission visited in the spring/summer 2023 dozens of hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries and research laboratories, including visits to Japan, Denmark, Israel, Ireland and Spain. The report makes 10 references to Danish healthcare organization, approaches and adoption on novel technologies and service design. But although the report recognizes both the scale and breath of the challenges currently facing the NHS health services, the ten point plan and recommendations are equally relevant for most current healthcare systems, and can only recommend a close study of the recommendations and steps to address the challenges and the good practice examples provided. The future of the healthcare system in this crucial election year, also the first election year after the crisis caused by the coronavirus, must be the focus of all discussions."
