❌ Celebrating Pride in June.  ✅ Celebrating Pride all year long! June was Pride Month. A time when people around the world turn their attention to the LGBTQIA+ community. Rainbow-coloured logos flood social media, advertisements, brand logos and more. While Pride Month is a powerful reminder of the progress we’ve made, we still have a long way to go. This is why at YourDOST we strive to create an environment where everyone feels celebrated for who they are - in June, July and every other month of the year.   We are proud to be building a workplace where inclusivity is an intrinsic aspect of our culture! Personally I think any business, or person, who thinks they are "okay" probably isn't, there's always more we can do to drive inclusion. What do you think Black Consumers thought of their representation in this year's Christmas ads? The Diversity Standards Collective, The World's Cultural Research Network, tested a few ads with a mix of Black Consumers from various backgrounds to see if they thought their representation was culturally authentic or not... JD Sports and Primark had the most positive responses, showing real progression and understanding of cultural nuance is being nailed by agencies like Uncommon Creative Studio. Other ad's had mixed responses from the Black consumers, who questioned some portrayals and their environments. "No one in the black community is throwing a party with [just] Waitrose frozen or even fresh foods", adding the ad is "so unrealistic".
