#insideALDI | Just like the country itself, ALDI France shines with delicious food and drinks 🍽 Since the opening of our first store in 1988 in Croix, far north of the country, our customers have also been able to do their grocery shopping with us in France. And ALDI France has grown strongly: More French customers than ever have easy access to an ALDI store. Also in the cities: In Paris, we have grown from one to 18 stores in recent years. What important milestones! Today, more than 16,000 ALDI employees make up a passionate team that now runs over 1,300 stores. "𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞" 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 🙌 As a supplier of basic goods, good food and drinks are part of our DNA. And it pays off – our own brands find favour in France: A total of 37 of our products have been honoured by French consumers with this year´s "Saveur de l'Année" award (“Taste of the Year”). Among them are 20 products from our "Pays Gourmand" range, which includes our locally produced French specialities in France, such as our Camembert from Normandy. So: culinary expertise? Yes!
