Would you want alcohol to impair your ability to work? It may seem obvious that most people wouldn’t, however, drinking the night before will certainly show up at work the following day. This is why it is important to understand that if you are going to drink, you know the guidance and how much alcohol will affect you, so that you can make informed decisions. The team at InterSystems UKI were keen to learn how much is too much, so we provided our ‘Mindful Drinking’ seminar to them. This 1-hour talk gave them tips and tricks on how to be more careful when it comes to consuming alcohol and how to implement this into their daily lives. We were pleased to see such great interaction from the team and glad that the subject of mindful drinking is being prioritised in their wellbeing program. If you would like to reduce the risk of alcohol impairing your team’s work, you can arrange these seminars today: [email protected] #AlcoholAwarenessWeek #Workplacewellbeing #HR #training

Due to Human Behaviour for IR may be I've been an HR since life. I take HRs as actors, natural psychological assessors, necessary influencers who promote discipline, are of the people, for the business and by the people.
HR: The Workplace Bouncers Implementing Checks: HR is like the bouncer at your favorite club, making sure no one brings in anything they shouldn’t. We’re following the Factories Act, 1948 and checking for any funny business. No intoxicated employees allowed—this isn't the place for a hangover showdown! 🕺🕵️♀️ Wellness Programs: Leveraging the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948, HR provides wellness programs that cover mental health, fitness, and substance abuse prevention. It’s like having a gym, therapist, and life coach rolled into one. 🏋️♂️🧘♀️🧠 Policy Enforcement: We enforce the Drug-Free Workplace Act, making sure everyone knows the rules. It’s like airport security—if you wouldn't try to sneak a bottle of wine past TSA, don’t try it here! 🍷✈️ Performance Incentives: Following the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, HR offers performance incentives to encourage a productive and drug-free environment. Hit your targets, stay clean, and enjoy those bonuses. 💰🏆 Educational Programs: HR hosts workshops that are as fun as they are informative, following OSHA guidelines. Think less "boring lecture" and more "edutainment extravaganza"! Have prizes, because who doesn’t love free stuff? 🎉🧠 Support and Resources: We’ve got your back with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), in line with The Mental Health Care Act, 2017. Whether you need stress-busting tips or substance abuse counseling, HR’s your go-to. It’s like having a personal coach, minus the whistles and track suits. 🛠️🤝 Enhanced Safety: A drug-free environment means fewer accidents and more high-fives. Positive Culture: Keeping things clean and legal makes for a great place to work. Adhering to the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946, ensures a clear, consistent workplace policy. Legal Compliance: Sticking to the rules keeps us out of the courtroom—and who likes going to court anyway? #WorkplaceSafety #FactoriesAct1948 #DrugFreeWorkplace #OSHA #SafeWorkEnvironment #CorporateSecurity #MentalHealthCareAct #FactoryAct #FunAtWork #EmployeeWellbeing #EmployeeTraining #WorkplaceExcellence #ContinuousImprovement #CorporateSuccess #EmployeeWellness #LegalCompliance #IndustrialEmploymentAct #Performance #Incentives #Culture #HR

Today marks the start of ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’. Here at The Logistics Partnership LLP we believe that mental health and wellbeing awareness and support should always be high on the agenda. We’re committed to supporting and bringing awareness not only within our own business but also when supporting and advising the clients we partner with across a wide range of industry sectors. This is a subject that really does matter. In terms of our own business, over the last 12-18 months, we’ve implemented a number of initiatives to support mental health and wellbeing. Just some of these include: · The formation of a ‘Mental Health Committee’, which worked closely with the whole business, utilising feedback from all partners and employees, subsequently creating an easily accessible roadmap of information, resources, and support. An inclusive ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy’ for all. · Investment in MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) training for a number of business employees/partners, who now play invaluable roles as ‘Mental Health First Aiders’ in our business. · Worked with our new employee benefits provider to develop an enhanced suite of mental health and wellbeing benefits, including unlimited mental health support for all. · Conducted a review of our working arrangements and implemented shorter working hours across all of our branches. In terms of our valued clients and candidates, we continue to work in partnership with them, providing advice and guidance on this subject, which is particularly relevant in the logistics industry—a sector that is massively fast-paced and often pressure-driven, and therefore particularly exposed to these challenges. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MentalHealthAdvocate #Employeewellbeing #EndTheStigma
