My team and I at Research and Development Solutions are proud to present the most up-to-date policy brief on Human Development Index (HDI) at the district level in Pakistan, which utilizes the latest available data from 2020. This brief provides a district-level snapshot of human development in Pakistan, equipping policymakers, researchers, and practitioners with actionable insights. Adnan Khan, Muhammad Ibrahim and I have augmented the brief with in-depth findings and detailed our methodology with supporting references. As the latest district-level HDI data available in Pakistan, this brief fills a critical knowledge gap and provides a foundation for evidence-based decision-making. November 11, 2023 I am very grateful for my participation in the “Youth Dialogue" at the Misha Mowabi Association for Culture and Arts in the city of Karak, completing the graduation requirements of the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies in cooperation with the Rosa-Lexemburg German Foundation. This session was within the framework of promoting the political participation of young people and raising community awareness of the rights stipulated in international charters. I spoke about the “concept of the right to health care,” where i touched on the terms of this right in international covenants and conventions related to human rights, and the actual obligations that entail the adoption of these international covenants. Also i explained the reality of health services in the public and private sectors and the transformations that have taken place in the field of health care, regarding the development of the workforce in these two basic sectors, and concluded a number of recommendations to improve the level of health services in Jordan, as a fundamental human right that must be done to serve society, calling for the need to protect, respect and promote it in accordance with international conventions related to human rights. In the contexts of youth dialogue, a number of ideas and recommendations were also put forward to enhance the participation of young people and increase their influence in decision-making that concerns them. This session was a great opportunity for young people to establish a kind of direct interaction among themselves, get to know each other's ideas, exchange experiences and experiences and enhance communication between them, to build strong cooperation networks, enhance community development and achieve the desired progress. #youth #karak #dialogue #achrs #skills
