Last Friday, our Customer Success Management team had the opportunity to attend the #ARRtist Circus Conference in Berlin. It was an enriching experience that allowed us to network, strengthen team bonds, and gain insights from industry experts. Here are some of my highlights from the event: 🏉 The keynote by Martijn B., titled "From Rugby Fields to Boardrooms," where he drew parallels between the business landscape and the legacy of excellence of the All Blacks rugby team. As a rugby fan myself, I found it fascinating to learn how qualities like humility, responsibility, team unity, and excellence can be applied in our collaborations with clients, especially in pre-sales engagements. 📈 Jasmin Bohnenkamp's workshop, focusing on unlocking growth through strategic customer relationships. She emphasized the importance of taking ownership of our portfolio's sustainable growth and profitability, highlighting how strategic customer relationships play a crucial role in achieving these objectives. 👂 Nieves Canada's workshop on unleashing the full potential of a Customer Success Professional. I appreciated the emphasis on conducting high-impact sessions with clients while actively listening to their needs and focusing on the strategic value we can deliver. The final exercise, where we discovered the tendency to prioritize solutions over attentive listening, was a valuable learning experience. ⭐️ Lastly, it was inspiring to attend the workshop led by our own CS Director, Marielle Habbel. Her presentation on the evolution of our CSM team at Personio over the last three years showcased our journey and growth as a team. It highlighted the importance of courageous leadership, coupled with a team culture that embraces constant change and improvement. Overall, the AARtist Circus Conference was a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn, grow, and reflect on our journey as Customer Success Managers.
