The future is becoming more sustainable 💚 Aviation has been developing at an immense pace for many years. Not only are the standards and capabilities evolving but also the aircraft propulsion systems. Out of my own conviction, I am enthusiastic and believe in a form of aviation that uses only CO2-neutral fuels. I therefore have the greatest respect for Airbus for actively taking this step and driving this project forward. "According to Tomasz Krysinski, the company’s head of innovation, Airbus has already demonstrated the system with its DisruptiveLab testbed aircraft delivering 250 kilowatts of power for two minutes. Three-engine private jets, like the Dassault Falcon series, offer unique advantages over their twin-engine counterparts: Enhanced Performance: The additional engine provides greater thrust, improving take-off performance, especially from hot and high airports. Breaking: Airbus Scales Back #Hydrogen APU Flight Tests Just got word that Airbus Aircraft has decided to cancel its plans for flight testing a hydrogen-fueled auxiliary power unit (APU) on an A330-200. Instead, they'll be conducting extensive ground tests at their Madrid site. According to Sabine Klauke, Airbus' Chief Technology Officer, the decision was made due to regulatory challenges and the fact that most of the learnings can be gained through ground testing. The #HyPower project, unveiled at last year's Paris Air Show, aimed to demonstrate hydrogen-powered flight by 2025. While that timeline won't be met, Airbus is still committed to advancing hydrogen technology and will continue to test it on the ground. What do you think about this decision?
