We’ve ✍ our largest deal for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to date – 9 million litres for delivery before the end of 2024. Thank you Neste for working with us on our decarbonisation journey. 🤝 ✈ Our Chair Dame Therese Walsh: “SAF is currently the only solution to significantly reduce emissions from long haul flight, but it currently makes up less than 1% of the global fuel supply. For aviation to reach its net zero carbon emissions goals by 2050, the SAF industry will need to scale significantly. While the SAF supply is small compared with the airline’s overall fuel use, it demonstrates the growing cooperation between two like-minded organisations to advance the supply and use of SAF.”
Excited that we will continue supporting Air New Zealand decarbonization focus by supplying our Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel at Los Angeles International Airport ✈🌍
It’s been a long journey since I first met Air New Zealand in 2017 to discuss SAF supply, together with Z Energy as their logistics partner. Well done to Air NZ and well done to all the people who made this long journey possible, especially those who were there at the very beginning Eddie Rutgers Tina Frew
What is the flash point of this fuel,? Very important Garry
this might be worth Air NZ looking into... place a seawater to jet fuel plant at each major airport.... here's how it works http://large.stanford.edu/courses/2012/ph240/klopfer1/
Excited to announce this new milestone in our cooperation with Air New Zealand. Thank you for the fantastic reception tonight in Singapore!
Nice work, Air New Zealand! Looking forward to when you can source SAF grown here in NZ. Paul Bennett, Florian Graichen
Congratulations of nèw milestone ! A-Team of Air New Zealand
Does this mean that the carbon offset option when booking Air New Zealand flights using SAF will reduce in cost.

4moBravo. I hope this inspires others to follow your lead. The Australian & N Zealand road transport association would agree I'm sure.
