DIALOG’s Martin Nielsen and Mona Lemoine will be joined by fellow industry leaders, on Friday, May 17, at this year’s The Royal Architectural Institute Of Canada | L'Institut royal d'architecture du Canada (RAIC) Conference on Architecture in Vancouver to deliver a thought-provoking presentation on unlocking accelerated action on climate change. This session, “RAIC Climate Action Plan – Supporting the Transformation of Practice,” will be moderated by Joanne Perdue and will feature Martin; Eladia Smoke, Smoke Architecture Inc.; and Michel Labrie, Local Practice Architecture + Design; who will share their insights and experiences with building a culture of design for climate and ecological health. The presenters will also discuss how their firms are developing leadership skills to accelerate positive change. Additionally, Mona will provide a brief overview of the RAIC’s draft Climate Action Plan, which was informed by a nationwide consultation with over 600 participants.
