What made you decide to pursue a career in corporate banking? ✏️ When I started my career, I was a clueless, eager-eyed MBA graduate who knew I liked client servicing, marketing, and people management. I never thought I would become a banker. I landed in my first role by sheer coincidence. I was a writer, debater, and creative artist but the more time I spent in my corporate banking career, the more interesting and exciting it could be. I get to research the industry, credit-worthiness, and competitor analysis, and connect the dots. There is a research opportunity, to study economics and see the future of a corporation. The industry can be exciting and competitive but over some time, it can get monotonous but if you keep up your inquisitive nature, it can end up teaching you something new altogether. Although I landed in this industry by sheer luck, this could be a great field for curious multipotentialites like me.
