Maximum permitted indicated airspeed for the P-61 Black Widow in a dive, according to a US manual for the aircraft. These limits were in place to prevent compressibility stalls (extremely fast moving air over the wings moves the center of lift backwards, causing the nose to pitch down and controls to lock up). While this was not something particularly associated with the P-61, the manual states that should the aircraft enter compressibility in a dive, continue down to 15,000 feet before beginning the stall recovery. At this altitude the aircraft's terminal velocity will only be around 420 mph.

‼️FLIGHT SPOILER ACTUATORS‼️ (BOEING 737-6-7-8-900) ✅The flight spoiler actuators use hydraulic power to move the flight spoilers. 📍Location The flight spoiler actuators attach to the rear spar of the wing below each flight spoiler. To get access, extend the TE flaps. 🖇️The flight spoiler actuator has these components: * Input crank * Control valve * Filter * Extension check and relief valve * Piston. ⚠️The input crank receives inputs from the spoiler actuator quadrant through the input arm. The input crank moves the control valve. ⚠️During extension, the control valve sends hydraulic pressure to the extend side of the piston and to the extension check and relief valve. The extension check and relief valve opens to permit fluid on the retract side of the piston to go to return. This lets the piston extend. ⚠️During retraction, the control valve moves in the opposite direction. This causes hydraulic pressure to go through the extension check and relief valve to the retract side of the piston. The hydraulic pressure on the extend side of the piston goes to return. This lets the piston retract. 🌀Flight spoiler actuators 2, 4, 9, and 11 receive hydraulic power from system A. 🌀Flight spoiler actuators 3, 5, 8, and 10 receive hydraulic power from system B. #boeingⓂ️an✈️🛫
