Did you know the type of accounts your charity needs to prepare depends on the type of organisation you are… This affects the legal requirements you must meet in relation to preparing the accounts and reporting them, and determines whether your organisation must be scrutinised by a third party or not. The reporting regime essentially depends on whether you’re incorporated, unincorporated, or a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO). Your level of gross income can also be a determining factor… 💡 If you want a simple view of the legal requirements for your charity, Emma Willder and the team at Beyond Profit Ltd have prepared a handy guide… and they’re sharing it as part of our weekly Monday top tips for charities series. 👉 Take a look on our website here: https://lnkd.in/eqPeXKRv Have a great week! #charity #charities #nonprofit #thirdsector #finance #charityfinance #governance #CharityIntelligence
