Another Black Friday, Cyber Monday is behind us and we have all the stats uncovering the important commerce habits that are defining this holiday season. In partnership with Square, we released nearly real-time data yesterday, where our combined seller base hit a record breaking 70M transactions around the world! After sifting through millions of data points, here are a few key highlights: 🎄 BNPL transactions through Afterpay grew 19% YoY 📱 Our app is the place to be! Growth of mobile commerce helped drive app usage, up 16% 🛍 In-person shopping grew 15%, while online cart sizes were 3.9X higher than in-person 🎨 Beyond fashion and beauty, the largest item categories purchased through Afterpay were hardware, home & garden, arts and entertainment, office supplies, and electronics. 🎁 More than 338K gift cards sold You can read more about the big shopping weekend in Reuters. https://lnkd.in/d5W6D_Vb

Buy now pay later organization's can set up a facility with the post office that enables their customers to pay for their fortnightly payments with them. All it would take is a card that the customer could obtain directly from the BNPL organization that would allow the customer to continue making regular payments. The card could be used everytime every initial payment has been for every purchase.
