Recently, we at Egon Zehnder Brazil had the pleasure to hold a breakfast with agribusiness leaders in São Paulo, providing a great discussion on the future of agribusiness. Some of the main topics discussed include: 🔹Leaders and their teams need to continue to getting closer to the field (farmers and producers) to help them understand the impact of different technologies, processes, and products at the end of the chain. 🔹Developing leaders with greater autonomy and decision-making capacity will be a key to the transformation, growth, and maturity of organizations. 🔹Enhancing the levels of productivity will be key: companies will need to scale good operating and management practices to make a better use of resources (land and water) and technology (bio, digital, mechanization). 🔹The waves of growth in agribusiness (records of production and GDP growth) generate a positive momentum that must to be followed by a more strategic allocation of capital to support moments of economic instability (especially in the south hemisphere). 🔹The solid development of the sector in the last 10-15 years paved the road to a green economy (e.g., biofuel, crop-farm and livestock integration) that will play a key role at the growth and the future of agribusiness. I would like to thank my dear colleagues Bruno Carrasco Prado Alves Ezequiel Silva Maitee Camargo Victoria Zaiden Vinicius Francisco for the great cooperation in the Agrofood practice. ➡️ What topics resonated the most? Just attended an insightful "Agripreneurship and Opportunities in Agribusiness" seminar in ACP 2.0 mastered by ISAB, and I'm excited to share the incredible outcomes! I gained a deep understanding of current trends and future opportunities in agribusiness, learning about cutting-edge agricultural technologies and sustainable practices. The seminar equipped me with essential business strategies for starting and scaling an agribusiness and highlighted emerging markets and niches within the sector. Additionally, I now have tools to manage risks and uncertainties in the agricultural industry, along with enhanced knowledge of agricultural policies and regulations. The seminar emphasized the importance of sustainability and eco-friendly practices, and I improved my leadership and management skills tailored for the agribusiness environment. Feeling inspired and equipped to take on new challenges in the agribusiness world! Highly recommend this seminar to anyone interested in the dynamic field of agripreneurship.

Unleashing the Power of Agribusiness: Overcoming Our Greatest Fear “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be?” – Marianne Williamson This quote resonates deeply in agribusiness, where the potential to transform lives and nations is often underestimated. Agriculture holds immense power—one seed can feed nations, create jobs, and drive sustainability. Yet, fear of failure or playing small often limits innovation and ambition. Agribusiness leaders must recognize their ability to spark change, embracing technology, collaboration, and bold strategies. Who are we not to revolutionize food systems, empower farmers, and achieve food security? Playing small doesn’t serve the world. By harnessing our full potential, we can illuminate the path toward Zero Hunger and a sustainable future. The power is ours—let’s use it.
