April is National #FairHousingMonth. This month, we commemorate the anniversary of the passage of the Fair Housing Act, which prohibited housing discrimination on the basis of race, religion, or nationality. However, we know that many of the tools of housing discrimination--and their lasting impacts--remain. This month, we will be sharing examples of how discriminatory practices have barred non-white families from accessing housing in La Crosse.
