I want to ask a question that many may avoid… Why are stay at home moms so overlooked in the job market? Why are they ignored for so many positions? As I have grown to know over 2,000 stay at home moms I have realized there are so many talents that they have to offer! We all know that remote work grew in the year 2020 across the U.S. which is perfect for stay at home moms. Moms are disciplined women with so much to offer. A lot of moms are desperate for jobs, so why not them? I ask this because I know so many companies are needing extra help with daily tasks or even needing full-time employees they can’t find the talent for. Let’s start warming up to the idea of hiring a SAHM mom!

Here’s a few things I have been reflecting on:
✨ I never planned to be a small business owner. That is not how I saw myself. But when the time came to do what was best for this company, it was clear I wanted to step into that role. The future suddenly looked brighter for me in the choices I could make for the people around me and my clients.
✨ Trust your gut, work hard, be humble, be kind. These guide me every day.
✨ The ErgoWorks team is amazing! They have said YES to the opportunity to be a part of something special, going outside of their comfort zone, inventing new ways to market and develop this company, and investing in their own professional development. I could not be happier to have them on this journey.
✨ My today is shaped by what came before. Positive or negative, people and events over the past 6 years have led me to the business I have today. The foundation is based on the work and dedication of those who helped me develop this company. Forever grateful for those who invested their time, knowledge, passion, and generosity over the past 6 years.
✨ This past year has been about growth with big, new, exciting milestones along the way. From creating the ErgoWorks Mission and Values, finding my amazing marketing team (@WildFigMarketing), designing marketing materials myself, new logo on fun new giveaways (@LakerPromotions), building a network of vendors who deliver excellence (@AcroMat, @DarCorCasters, @OccuPro, @Owlbookkeepingandcfoservices), welcoming new therapists to the team, and creating new services to meet the needs of employers in Minnesota. It was a ton of work but so very worth it!
✨ Proving to myself I could do this by welcoming new clients, developing new services, offering opportunities for my team to grow professionally.
✨ This next year? Systems, sustainability, support. Balancing growth and opportunity with a vision for the future.
